Get in touch with us and we will offer you a variety of wedding packages, from a simple ceremony on a wharf with the Caribbean Sea as a backdrop, or in the ravishing surroundings of a white-sand beach fringed with coconut palms, or even a religious ceremony in our own San Salvador Chapel followed by an opulent banquet.

1. Upon Arrival

• Late check out until 3:00pm (on request, subject to availability).
• Upgrade to the next room category booked, subject to availability (only for the couple).

2. Wedding day

• Personalized assistance from our wedding specialist.
• Basic decoration of the chapel Oratorio Virgen de San Salvador.**
• Wedding Cake (for up to 35 people).
• Five Bottle of sparkling wine for the toast (for up to 35 people).
• Priest
• Cd player for the ceremony.
• One session of 40 minutes of Swedish massage for the bride.
• Special Package at the beauty salon for the bride (Hair, Makeup).
• 1 Bridal bouquet (Tropical flowers or Roses).
• 1 Boutonniere (Tropical flowers or Roses).
• Center piece for the ceremony table (Tropical flowers or Roses).
• Transportation in a decorated train, to the chapel and from the chapel.
• Cocktails and canapés after the ceremony for one hour (for up to 35 people).
• Reserved area for dinner at one of our "All Inclusive" restaurants (Subject to availability for groups under 35 people).
• Free access into our VIP area at the Disco Bavaro, for bride & groom.
• King-size bed upon request.
• Bathrobes and slippers in your room by request.
• Special decoration in the room with rose petals on the bed.
• Basket of fruits, Dominican rum and a bottle of sparkling wine sent to the room for the couple.

3. After the wedding

• Breakfast in the room for the honeymooner, the morning after the ceremony.
• Marriage certificate legalized in the Dominican Republic (In Spanish)*.
• Delivery of the marriage certificate by UPS.

*Notes:
**Services such as rose petals and other decoration have an additional charge.
*Wedding packages cannot be modified or replaced.
*In case of bad weather, the wedding cannot be cancelled; it will be moved to a backup plan. No refunds are allowed.
*Wedding packages are exclusively for guest staying at Barceló Bavaro Beach Resort.
*Guest not saying at the resort and attending the wedding must pay a day pass.
*Certificate of marriage and legalization takes approximately 2 to 3 months.
*More than 35 people, have an additional charge.
* The priest does not perform weddings on the beach, only inside the chapel located inside the complex.

Catholic Wedding Package
(Applies to most of the wedding packages*)
WEDDINGS IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

1. The couple who wishes to get married by the sacrament of matrimony in the Atlantic Parishes of the Diocese of Altagracia has to get in touch with their own parish priest minimum 6 months or more to begin the Preparation for their Wedding. We only perform the ceremony here; we absolutely cannot give the service of Preparation here.

2. After the Wedding, the Parish will take charge of the Legal Procedures of Matrimony with the Dominican State through the "Oficialía" of Friusa (Bávaro). The hotel will send the Certificate of marriage to the couple, and it normally takes two to three
months.

3. The wedding ceremony will take place at the Catholic Church inside the resort "Oratorio Virgen de San Salvador", Will never take place on the beach, or close to it, or close to a no-so decent place for the ceremony of a Sacrament. It is not allowed by the catholic church of Dominican
Republic.

4. Kindly ask the wedding department of Barceló Bavaro Beach resort for all the documentation needed to get married in the Catholic Church by the Dominican Law.

5. To confirm the wedding date/time, all the documentation needs to be send at least 2 months prior to the wedding to the wedding coordinator of Barceló Bavaro Beach Resort. The parish priest will confirmed all the documentation; same will be return to the couple after the
wedding.

*** The Catholic Church is available from Monday to Saturday (except Sundays) dates and times to perform wedding ceremonies at our Resort, are subject to the priest confirmation. Catholic wedding are performed in the church, other locations are not permitted by the church.

*Catholic wedding package do not apply for the coconut paradise wedding package.
