Bay Tour

The waters of the Bay of Huatulco are perfect for deep-sea fishing. Marlin, goldfish and tuna are all abundant in the region.



Shopping


Strolling through Mexico's craft markets, shops and boutiques, visitors will find delicious local produce such as chocolates, cheeses, "mole" pastes, coffee, mezcal creams, "pan de yema" (anise-scented buns) and "chapulines" (deep-fried grasshoppers!)

Shopping in Huatulco is a real experience.

You'll also find beautiful examples of local craftsmanship such "alebrijes" (carved wooden animals), black pottery figures, tablecloths, rugs and bedspreads.

These and many other lovely souvenirs can be found at the 5 de Mayo Market and the Santa Cruz Craft Market, both open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.



Excursions

Oaxaca Overnight

Discover the magic of ancient cultures!!! We start our tour from the Pacific Coast to Oaxaca City, going through the Sierra Madre del Sur, making the first stop at San Jose del Pacifico, the highest point of the sierra! Amazing photos from here to continue our trip visiting the village of San Bartolo Coyotepec, famous for its black pottery. We then continue to Monte Alban, the ancient Zapotec city, followed by a sightseeing tour of the Church of Santo Domingo and the Regional Musem.

Coffee Plantation and Waterfalls Tour

Explore Oaxaca's beautiful Sierra region, home to one of the Mexico's richest coffees and to an enormous variety of tropical flora. A little over and hour drive up the mountain will take you to this paradise. En route to the plantation you will visit Xadani, a quaint little village that has existed and remained untouched the modern world for more than 400 years. At the plantation you will get to know the process o f the fresh coffee form the cultivation to the final product and naturally, to taste the results. There is time for an optional swim in one of the many waterfalls on the property. Then comes the best party of the day. Tour includes lunch (Oaxacan style) freshly prepared by the owners of the plantation. (There is a bumpy drive to the plantation, dress comfortably).

Puerto Angel - Mazunte - Turtle Reseach Center

A visit to the picturesque village of Puerto Angel and a tour of its local beaches are the highlights of this excursion. You will have plenty of time to swim and enjoy its natural settings. In addition, a stop at the Turtle Research Center in Mazunte is also featured where you will see the many species of turtles that inhabit our Mexican waters. There will be time for lunch at the world-famous Zipolite beach (lunch is not included)

City and Shopping Tour

Pass through the zone of Tangolunda Bay and enjoy the panoramic beauty of the most developed bay of Hautulco. After capturing the colorful scenes on film, we are on our way to the village of La Crucesita, where you can stroll through its charming main plaza and have a time to browse and shop in the handicraft market (fantasy creatures carved out of wood, leather and woven goods) and silver shops. The main plaza has sculptures, shade trees, walkways, benches and the ambience for visitor and local to mingle. Our last stop is the seaside village of Santa Cruz. An open-air market lies to on side of the main plaza where you can find numerous restaurants and handicraft shops.

Bird watching

This natural biological excursion is meant for nature lovers interested in one foe the most scenic and exciting wildlife areas of the Mexican coast. The bays of Huatulco, which still preserves a great deal of its pristine environment, offers lush vegetation year round for may resident birds as well as for the migratory ones.

ATV Jungle Tour

Enjoy a marvelous adventure aboard an ATV as you tour the ecological reserves of Bays of Cacaluta, Maguey and Organo. We also Visit Cruz del Monte and learn about religious history that has contributed to the culture of the region. There is time to swim and snorkel in the crystal waters and marvel at colorful fish and coral formations. Round trip transportation, goggles, helmet and bilingual guide are included.
