Genuine marvels of traditional craftsmanship can be
found in Mexico, made from ceramics, copper, leather, fabric and macramé.
Taxco's exquisite silver creations are a fine example of expert Mexican
silvermaking. In Ixtapa and the nearby town of Zihuatanejo there are
a number of craft markets selling sea shells, genuine Taxco silver,
the famous little lacquer-work boxes from Olinalá and other examples
of Mexican craftsmanship such as ceramics, copper objects, fabrics and
macramé.
These and other products can also be found in the Ixtapa shopping mall,
which is open every day of the week from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
to 8 p.m
